Debt Securities Trustee Services

CDC Share Registrar Services Limited (CDCSR) has achieved another milestone by obtaining a license of Debt Securities Trustee from Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in accordance with the Public Offering (Regulated Securities Activities Licensing) Regulations, 2017. (Click here for copy of license). Debt Securities Trustee service is provided to the Issuers of Debt instruments to fulfil their obligations under the provisions of the Structuring of Debt Securities Regulations, 2020.

Scope of Services:

The services provided by CDCSR as the Debt Securities Trustee mainly include:
  • Monitoring compliance by the Issuer with all the covenants of the Trust Deed.
  •  Protect the interests and rights of the debt security holders according to the Trust Deed.
  •  Timely reporting of compliances to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) according to the Trust Deed.
  • Monitoring of payment of profit to the debt security holders and redemption of the debt security according to the redemption schedule.
  • Facilitation to the debt security holders for resolving their queries in a timely and appropriate manner.
